OMT WORKING GROUP is built to collect as little personal information as possible.

Information stored on your device

Your favorites and display preferences are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data removes them.

The AI assistant

When the assistant is connected to an AI service, the messages you type are sent to our server and then to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a reply. We don't store conversations on our servers, and we don't use them to identify you. The conversation is kept only in your browser tab. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat. In demo mode, messages are processed entirely in your browser.

Searching Open Library

When you choose to search Open Library, your search words are sent directly from your browser to openlibrary.org, which has its own privacy policy.

Contact and copyright forms

If you send a form, the details you enter (such as your name, email and message) are stored securely in our database (hosted by Supabase) and used only to reply to you or handle your report.

Hosting

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for security and reliability.
